The National Statistics Office is conducting trainings on the registration of basic information on farmers, farm laborers, and fisher’s folk in the Municipality of San Jose. Participants include Barangay Captains, Barangay Secretary and hired interviewers/enumerators. The training started last September 25 until September 28, 2012 at Barangay Justiniana Multi-Purpose Building, San Jose, Dinagat Islands.

The Local Government of San Jose identified the e- Community Based Monitoring System as one of the integral activity in establishing comprehensive database which will be the basis for future intervention anchored on sustainable development. It aims not only to generate the appropriate information for high quality service delivery but also to strengthen local decision-making, basic services provision, community capacity and effective public participation in the local government.
